f n the Resident Magistrate's Court to-day the case James Garvey v. S. T. Warner came on for hearing. Damages were laid at £50, for illegal seizure of Bright Smile shares. It appeais there was a contribution due by a James Garvey in the Sea Lion Company's estate, and Warner, thinking James Garvey the man, issued a writ of attachment against the Smile shares. The writ was held for several days before the mistake was discovered and the attachment withdrawn. Meantime Bright Smile stock fell in value. They now sued for the difference. Judgment was given for £34, with £8 costs. Golden Crown. — 501b. of rich specimens to-day. There is a good show of gold left in the face.
