J?iu RE ',T Th ? mana g er reports : "Took out 1501b. of specimens thia morning. Main run looking well. Gold making on hanging. wall. Completed crushing on Saturday ; wiil retort to-day. " 8 p.m. Cyclops.— 30 tons of atone have yielded 14oz. I6dwt. 12gr. of melted gold. This from a six-feet reef is a good return. Maiket brisk. Sales : Caledonian, from £17 to £17 10s., closed buyers £17 fig • Thames, £5 ss. ; Cures, 40s. to 425. 6d.,' many changed hands ; Queeu of the Thames, Is. 9d. ; Coliban, 2a. 6d.; Watchman, 205.; Cure. — A portion of the amalgam in hand has been retorted, and yielded 4730z. of gold, plus 4660z, obtained bef ore, thus giving a total of 9390z. iv hand. The retorting will be finished to-morrow, when they expect to receive 1,3000z. as a grand total. The mine looks well. Italian. — A new leader has been cut in the main level to-day, and good-lookiug stone js being obtained.
