THE PREPARATORY SCHOOL: HALF-YEARLY EXHIBITION.

The half-yearly examination of the scholars attending Mr. R. J. Morre9sy's Preparatory School, Hobson-strcor, took pl.ice on the 22nd. A large number of tlie parents of the pupils were piesent. The following are the names of the scholars who were auccessiul in obtaining prizes :— First Olasg : English, prize for composition, grammar, spelling, dictation, and arithmetic, S. Edmonds ; 2nd prize, elocution, including recitation and poetry, 15. Hill ; 3i\l prize, geography, resulted in a tie between Masters Shove and if.
