AMUSEMENTS.

Prince of WXles Theatre. —The advantage which thia house has over the City Hall for an enter tairiment like f that given by the lSreoJaior Minstrels is that the voe&liaabion falls inqrp distinctly on the ear, and we get all that is intended from the , instrumental performers. There i« no echo here, which is ao painful to both performers and those who come ( to listen to them : consequently jtho Minstrels appear to better advantage than at where they last played. The singing last night by Messrs. Herrmann, Holly, Amery' Kelly, and Clark, was of the usual varied character; and appeared to be greatly liked by the audience. The dancing of Kelly. Holly, and O'Brien conld not possibly be more cotnio and grotesque. Nothing in its way conld be better. There was a quartette by Clark, Herrmann, Reeves, and Amery very sweetly rendered, followed by a harp solo by Mr. Saunders, whieh was most enthusiasts cally encored. ' The burlesque of Balfe's opera " I he Bohemian Girl'* concluded very good night's performance. Theatre Koyal.— There was quit* a full house Ia86 night to witness the entertainment of Mrs. ,'• McGregor's Lovee,"in which such a variety of characters are impersonated by Mr. Gourlay with such extrardinary skill. There is not one of those who have the honour of an introduction to Mrs. McGregor but is a domestic portrait which we all recoguise at eight. The Gourlays— Mr. and Mrs., Master and Mis3— between them succeeded in keeping the audience in a continued state 'of laughter.— This evening the family appear in "Pretty Mary" and "My Little Wide," with interlude parts.
