'Vickers reports sales of Bank of New Zealand shares, in a, large parcel, at £10 , Thames, £17 10s ; Moanatai.m, 30s ; Unas, 17s Gil ; Belfasts, 27s Gil ; Tokafceas, 10-*; Shotover, 8s 3d. tJr. J. Tonson Garlick reports for week ending 13th March, 1871 : —"There has been a large amount of business done this week ; my sales have been more numerous and of greater magnitude than the preceding week. The shares quitted by me have been in the various companies, and prices quoted below. It will be seen, therefrom, that All Nations have risen from 61. to 11.; Moanataiaris, from 1?. 10s to SI ; Junctions, from 11 17a. 6d. to 21. ss. Tookey's have declined to 11. Caledonians slightly declined in consequence of Tookey's Company having stopped pumping, but confidence was again restored on its being made known that ifc did not affect the present working of the mine. The stone is being got out as freely and rich as ever, and it is expected the next dividend will even exceed the last.—Monday Afternoon : Thames Goldmining Company have been greatly in demand to-day. I have sold large parcels at 111. 10s. Moanataiaris have changed hands freely at Zl.; Junctions, 21. sa. There are buyers of large lots of Tokateag at 10s. I have also quitted Bank of New Zealand shares at IQl."
