POLICE COURT.— Monday. [Before H. H. Turton, Esq., J.P.]
Drunkenness. — Thomas Cullen, J ohn McCoy, William Harfc, Thomas James, Jamea John&tone, and Elleu Conlon, for this offence, were fined in the usual manner. Breach ov Auckland Munich 5 al Police Act.— John Collins was charged with having created a disturbance in Saint Paul's Church on the evening of Sunday last. — Fined £10 : in f.default, L three imprisonment with hard labour. Breach of Vagrant Act.— Mary Burke was brought up under the above Act, having no visible means of support. — Ordered to be imprisoned for three with hard labour. VACfRANT Acr, — Emma Stainson, for making use of obscene language, was discharged with a caution. — Ann White was, ordered to be imprisoned for three months for a breach of the Vagrant Act. — John Morgan, an old offender, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment with hard labour for a breach of the Vagrant Act.
