The Daily Southern Cross. MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS.
A meeting of the shareholders in the Union Claim, Moanataiari, was held at the Provincial Hotel, Grahamstown, on Saturday last. It was resolved to form the claim into a company, to be called the Moanataiari Union Goldmining Company (Registered), with a capital of £3,360, in 3,360 shares of £1 each, 10s. paid up. The former managing committee of the claim was allowed to remain in office for the purpose of liquidating the debts of the claim. They were instructed to defray all the debts, and to pay the balance of proceeds from the present crushing into the Bank to the credit of the company, which will enable it to start in a most favourable position.
