AUCKLAND REGATTA CLUB.
A meeting of the committee of the, Auckland Regatta Ulub was held itiot evening at the 'L<as.«ias. i&atel.^ (j v Yoa der Heyde, Esq., in the chair. Ifc v/as proposed and carried, "That all yachts iv the third race having centre-boards snail have them sealed either up or down at the option of the owners." — The Chan-man informed the meeting that his Honor the Superintendent had consented to allow the committee to enclose the end of the Queen-street Wharf for the Hegatta day, iv the eveut of theie being no vessel available as flagship. It was agreed that should no vessel arrive suitable for a flagship by 9 a m. on Saturday morning, seats, &c, should be erected on the v/haif for the use of the members of the Club. We rni.hfc have mentioned that any persons who are subscribers of £J to the .Regatta Club will be entitled to admittance to the enclosed space, or on board the ffa ;ship in the event of there being one. To-morrow night, from 7 to 10, the committee are to be in attendance at the ciubrooni to receive entries for the llegatha.
