A numerously-attended and enthusiastic meeting of Mr. C. O'Neill's supportora was held laat night at the Academy o£ lWusic, Grab ainstmvn, the principal business being the appointment of a working committee to cnsuro My. O'Np\U's return as the Thames representative in the Creneial Assembly. Mr, LasceHes was ia the chair, and Mr. Wavmoll addressed the meeting, and apologisedfor Mr. O'Neill's unavoidable absence ; at the same time he spoke eulogisbically of that gentleman, andj as his very intimate fri««"J» explained, n few of his poftticai vip^s.
