THE ALLEGATION OF BRIBERDY.
In the Provincial Council yesterday the Speaker read Message No. 46, received from his Honor the Superintendent iv reply to Address Ho. 114^ informing the Council that neither £10,000 nor any other sum had been spent on any of the newspapers at the Thames goldfield in the shape of bribes or in any other way during the year 1870.
