EXPORT OF GOLD.
The ship « Excelsior ' took the following parcels of gold : — Shipped by the Bank of New Zealand.
4 boxes (5,5770z. lldwt. 12gr.) ; value, £26,350. Silver.— 3 bars (3,4020z.); £90C. Duty to the amount of £694 19s. has been paid on the gold. The s,s. 'James Paterson,' for Sydney,took on December 2, 2 boxes containing 3,4810z. of gold, value £12,251, on which duty to the amount of £802 had been paid. The gold was shipped by the Bank of New Zealand. Ihe p.s. » Williams ' brought up from the Thames, on November 15, 4 boxes contaming 5,047 ounces of gold, for the Bank of New Zealand.
