These Engines, being made specially for the colonies, are constructed of extra strength and durability in all heir parts, so as to obviate as far as possible any necessity for repairs, and they combine all tho most recent improvements, of which the most important is Chapman's variable expansion excentric, by mean* cf whi'jh Engines of any size may be worked at a lower power down to two-hone, with a corresponding saving of fuel. They are fitted with an oniaiged fire box for burning wood or other light fuel. The undersigned are also empowered to take in dents for Ruston, Proctor, and Co.'s Semi-Portable Engines, obviating tho necessity and expense of setting.
