At the same time he respectfully begs to inform those insured iv the office, that he has received no iutimatlon from the Managing Directory of such -steps having been taken, and from correspondence to him by last mail, as well as from the high standing the Company has hitherto maintained, he has every reason to believe there is -no foundation for such report.
