NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS.
"KM., Oneiiunga," sends us a letter of twenty-four pages of closely- written manuscript, headed "A Personal Devil." Now, we dare say, our correspondent's imp is a very respectable ' ' person ;" but we have no desire to make his acquaintance. We have established a lasting friendship with "a personal devil" in the printing office for many years past ; and we think that to know one of the family intimately ought to satisfy any man for a lifetime. Under these circumstances, we have not deemed ii prudent to inquire after " KM. 'a" particular fiiend. But that he sets great store by his performance is evident,, for he writes, in his confidential letter: "Should you insert in your paper xhe enclosed, I shall reserve to myself an author's rights. Should you not publish it, please take care of the manuscript till I call for it. " With the greatest pleasure in life • only, we give "KM. "fair warning, that if he sends us any moie letters of the same character, we shall consign them to the flames, by which we recommeud him to try his "personal devil."
