NOTICES TO CORRESPONDENTS.
Diseased Meat. —The matter complained of by Mr. James Brown is one which ought to be dealt with by the Inspector of Nuisances. "An Inhabitant" of Karangahape Pioad, who complains of the nuisance of stray pigs in that locality, would be likely to have his grievance redressed by bringing the matter under the notice of the police. " Dedwood" wonders why the Dedwood Highway Board do not at once proceed with the works which he understands have been in contemplation for so long. Perhaps if he were to inquire of a member of the Board he would obtain the necessary information. '' Dedwood" hopes that the gentlemen recently appointed members of the Board by his Honor the Superintendent will infuse new life into it, and will proceed with the much-required improvements.
