Lewis Brothers held a sale of fruit ex 'Eucalyptus ta-day. There w*s a good Attendance, and the greater portion w*3,diapoitd pf at from 2d to 3d per ib.
Mr. L. W. Eaton reports having sold to . day— apple? at 2UI to 3d ; jams, 7s Gd onions, l^d; peava, 2d ; Whanganui butter 9d ; Whaugahui cheese, 7d ; AucklaiK cheese, 6d. Messrs. S. Cochrane and Son sold by auc tion to-day the engine and battery, consisting of five stampers, together with the site water right, &c, of the Fearnaught f4old mining Company, for £189. Mr. B. Tonka disposed of by auction to clay— lo acres at Muddy Creek, £185 ; si> allotments in the parish of Takapuna fo] £S ; and 99 acies at Elliotts Creek, at 2s 3d per acre.
