A. aail insight inside Tivitivi was signalled last evening, but the vessel had not arrived in harbour up to a late hour. Tj?3 Tauranoa.—The s.s. Tauranga, Capta,in Cellem, arrived from the Bay of Islands yesterday morning at daylight. She left Rus3ell at 4 pm. on Tuesday. She brings a cargo of 270 sheep, A. Buckland; 43 bags gum, W. J. Hurst; 42 bags gum, Edmonds; 5 bags fiuit, Arthur; 3 bags fruit, "Wearing; 30 bags fruit, Eaton ; 3 boxes, Mrs. Martin. The Tauranga sailed again in the afternoon for Tauranga. She took several passengers and a small general cargo. Thk City of Melbourne.—The s.s. City of Melbourne, Captain Paddle, took her departure for Sydney yesterday morning. She had a small general cargo, and several pjisaengers. The Alice.—The barque Alice, having discharged her powder, came up harbour yesterday morning, and anchored off the Queen-street Wharf. She will haul alongside he wharf in a day or two. The Colonial Government p.s. Sturt, Captain Fairchild, sailed for East Coast ports last night. The Hon. D. McLean was a passenger by her. The s.s. Rangatira takes her departure for Southern ports this afternoon at three o'clock. The barque Kate is announced to aail for Sydney to-day.
