Tonks held an unreserved sale of drapery at bis mart to-day. The following is the list of prices obtained : — Crimean flannel, Is 3^d; French flannel, Is sd; Crimean shuts, 345 ; white shirts, 40s ; regatta shirts, 33s ; brownholland, sdto 7 id ; white calico, 4|d ; fancy-striped mohair, B^d ; shepherd-checked wincey, B^d ; ! brooches, 14<,d ; I.E. braces, 10s 6d to 23s ; I.E. belts, lOd ; 72in. grey calico, lOd ; j Byzantine shn ting, sd ; shepherd-check Crimean shirts, 61)3; i ail way cord, 10 ',d; S.T. shirting, Bd. ~ i Mr S Jones huld a sale of wines, spirits, &c, at his mart to-day. There was a fair attendance, and satisfactory pi ices were obtained. Messrs. C. Arthur and Sou sold at their mart, to-day, apples, Id to lAd ; onions, Ijd ; potatoes, 2s Gd to 3s 3d ; plums, Id. Mr. C Davis sold by public auction at his mart, Queen-street, to-day, the following propei ties : — An allotment in Eokeby-sfcreet, having a frontage of 30 feet, with a substantial dwelling-house erected, for the sum of £153 ; a cottage and allotment in Bakerstreet, for £76 ; an allotment in Howe-street, with cottage erected, for £27 ; an allotment in Wellington-street, with tyro dwellinghouses erected, sold for £350. The other properties advertised were withdrawn. To-day Mr. A E. Cohen held a trade sale of clothing, drapery, &c. : the attendance was liniibed. The following prices were realised : — 1 case shepherd's plaid trousers, 32a 6d ; 1 case tweed coats, 12s 6d ; 2 bales grey calico, 3.^d to 7d ; 3 eases mole trousers, 5a 4d ; 2 cases super tweed diagonal trousers, 10a 3d; 2 cases brown cotton half -hose, 4a; 1 case Croyden sheeting, Is 5d ; 1 case f and f mohair, os ; 2 cases jean shirting, 5d ; 2 cases jXTper collars, 4% Gd ; 1 case white shirts, 4s.
