The Goveinoi has, by proclamation, dissolved the Piowneial Council of Mailborough, and another genex.il election is to take place The Sounihmd JS r ows of the 15th of January states that the body of Mr James Diuulas, smveyor, was found on the Paverton Fund yesterday, about 2 -p.m., by a settler named McNaughton — the deceased gentleman's hoise sending saddled and hi idled near by. The only other information to hand 1* thai; Mr Dunclas left his camp at Waimaluku Bnsk the same inoining, at H o'clock, Mith the intention of visiting town, and was not subsequently seen until found as stated.
