General Servants : Females, per week, 123 to 14s ; housemaids, 12s to 14s ; housekeepers, 16s to 20a ; men cooks, 20s to 35s ; female cooks, 14j to 20s ; farm servants, 15s to 25s ; labourers, 80s td 35s. The demand for female labour is still on the increase, and wages of lriore than usual amount offered. Farm-labourers and market-gardeners are in demnnd. Mechanics are not enquired for.
