THAMES STOCK EXCHANGE.
A mketjng of the members of the Thame3 Stook Exchange was lield on Tuesday evening, ab the Exchange room, Governor Bowen Hotel, Graham's Town. Preseut : Captain fc*kene (in the chan), Mes«r&. SannderB, McGinley, Moorhouse, .Lyle, Totton, and Creagh. The following linns vseie elected as brokers : — Messrs. Hunter aud (Jo , Stymie aud Pliillip", Morriu. aud Bleazird; aud Messr-i. Wood and Gwynneth wera added as jobbers. The following offiee3 were placed at the disposal of the meeting for the use of the Stock Exchange : The sa of Messrs. Curtis, Porter, and Co., and WWley and Whitaker. These offers were laid before the mebting, and ib was decided to adjourn the consideration of the question for ft week to receive a further report from the building committeo. It was decided that it be the rule of the members of tho Exchange that, in all cases except those of .spe.ixl arrangement, tho buyer pay at imp duty. It was also resolved that a petition be presented to the Government praying that a branch stamp-offioo whould be established »t the Than.es. Ib was resolved that the ru'ea of the titock Exchmae should be printed for distribution. After a vote of thanks to tlio chairman, the meeting adjourned for a week. —Advertise)', July 28.
