FOOCHOW TEA MARKET.
The following ia from Messrs. John Odell and Co.'s oiroular, dated May 21 {—"Tea : There have not been any transactions in old tea, the few parcels remaining on offer being common, and undesirable quality. On the 18th instant, about 800 half-cheats new season's congou, and 200 balf-chests oolong, came to hand ; but eiuce then, owing to very heavy freshets in the river, further arrivals have been prevented, and we are nofc likely to have any additions to the stook for the next few dayu, A few musters of packling congous have been placed on the market, but theae appear to be rather inferior in quality. We have no reliable information as regards prioes paid in the country, but the teamen report that generally higher rates have ruled.
