POLICE COURT,— Monday. (Before R. F. Porter, Esq., J P., and G. M. MrrroitD, Esq., J.P )

Drunkenness. —George Nuni, W. Graham, S. Price, and A.nn Beilly were fined for the above offence. Drunk and Disorderly. — Henry Mappin, charged with this offence, was fined 20s. and costs, with the alternative of 48 hours' imprisonment. Obstructing a Constable. —Stephen Tretkone pleaded guilty to the above offence. Mr, Commissioner Isaughton asked that the optien of a tine might not be allowed prisoner, but that lie should be sentenced to a term of imprisonment. The case was of an aggravated kind, the prisoner whom the constable was engaged in conveying to the lock-up having been enabled to eßoape in oonsequence of Trethone's interference. The Bench sentenced prisoner to one month's imprisonment with hard labour. Indecent Exposure.— John Thouban, charged with indecently exposing himself in Queen-street, pleaded guilty, and was fined 20s, and costs. This concluded the business.
