We Lave now about forty Armed Constabulary here, who are being instructed in their drill by Senior* Sergeant Dauneeu j but no militia have ai yet beeu oalled out. Raihsna and his parly, who were to have attacked this place, have returned to Mokau, where they were last heard of ; but, as I have already informed you, they will ba present at the meeting as Tokangamutu.
