ARRIVAL OP THE S.S. HERO FJROM SYDNEY; The magnificent s.s. Hero, 765 tons, Captain Thomas Logao, has made another successful trip to this port nf four aud a half days, with a large general cargo and nbout 60 passenger*. It ii gratifying to ace the growiug necessity there ia for having such a vessel plying between this port and Sydney; and we hope she may long continue to receive such. sup. port as will induce her owners to continue the traffic, and keep her on this line. The foUowiug is a report of her passage :— The Hero left Sydney Heads at n6on on Saturday, the 10th instant, and during the first two days expsrienced N\N.E.' winds and fine weather; on the 12th and 13 eh, strong northerly windi and thick hazy weather to the Thr«e Kings, which, were passed at 8.30 a.m. on the 14th. Rounded the North Cape at 2 p.m. same day, and from thence had light S. W. winds and fine weather, arriving in harbour at 9 a m. jesteiday. We are indebted to Mr, R. W.
