WHEREAS the Clerk of the City Board has certified to me, under his ha id, that two vacancies have occurred in the representation of East Ward No. 1 on the City Board : I hereby give notice that a PUBLIC MEETING of the ELECTORS of EAST WARD No. 1 will be held at the City Board Office at noon on THURSDAY, the 20th day of August, 1868, for the purpose of ELECTING TWO MEMBEES to serve on the City Board for the said Ward.
