The Customs revenue collected at this port to-day comprised the following items : — Duties, £353 15s 7d ; light dues, £3 Os Id ; arms fee?, 2s ; gold duty, £189 8s 9d; pilotage, £4 4s 6d; port charges, 13s Id. Messrs. L. D. Nathan and Co. held a sale of oilmen's stores, groceries, tobacco, candles, soaps, &., fX ' Pakeha,' from Melbourne, at their storep, yesterday, when, the following prices were realised : — Currants, 4|d ; Delmontine candles, 13d; Cramer's Neva candle?, ]3£d to 13£ d; soap (primrose, household, blue-nfottled, and best pale yellow), 30s to 31s; bacon, lid; Melbourne-made oatmeal, 3d; consou, half -chests, Is 6d to Is 6£d; congou, chests, Is 8d ; salad oil, half-pints, 8s 6d ; Colmans mustard, lib. tins, 12s; |lb. bottles, 8s 6d; bottled fruits, 15s 6d to 16s 6d j sauces, 6s 6d per dozen ; dried apples, 8d ; Why brow's vinegar, lie 6d to 11s 9d; Sublett's aromatic tobacco, pounds, Is 3d to Is 4d ; light-pressed Congress aromatic, 9£d ; Carrier Dove twist, lid ; Marie Josephine, tens, 10|d to lOJd ; J. Ridings offered for Bale at his mart to-day the Exchange Hotel, Queen-street, which was bought in by the mortgagees for £2 400. Mess is. Lewis Brothers held a sale of glassware at their stores to-day, at which there was a fair attendance, and the prices realised were satisfactory.
