ARRIVAL OF THE S.S. STORMBIRD. The N.Z.S.N. Co.'s steamer Stormbird, 68 tons, Captain Doile, arrived in the Manukau yesterday. She left Wellington on the 4th at 4 p.m., and' arrived at Whanganui at 8 a.m. on the sfch. Left at 10 p.m. on the 6th, and arrived at Taranaki at 11' a.m. on the 7th. Sailed again at 2 p.m., and arrived in the Manukau at 9 am. yesterday. Reports having experienced light head -winds and a calm sea throughout. She brings the following p»«seog.irs ;—; — Saloon— Airs. Norton, Mr. and Mrs. Hurtt, Messrs. ' Levy, Wilson, and Simpson. Steerage — Meisrs. O'Reilly, Moore, Farmer, J. Scott, Butterworth, Norton, Kelly, Hopkinson.Gr. Scott, Co wan, Styveon, Muir, Weston, and Mr. and Mrs. Meyerberg. From Taranaki — Messrs. Smith, Rogers, and Minings. Cargo : 230 sheep, order ; 10 keg* butter, Levy Brothers ; 1 case, Muir ; 1 cage birds, Rev. J. I Bailer. — A. Barnes, agent.
The Willie Wiokie, Abner, master, cleared at the Customs (Onehunga), on the 6th, for Raglan with a general cargo and three passengers ; and the Little Fled, yesterday, for Melbourne, with, ,,90, G00 feet of sawn timber.
