THE BALL.
After the close of the concert a ball wu held, which was numerously attended, not only by the ■ettlers of Otabuhu and the adjacent district!, bat by a large number of visitors from Auckland. Mr. J. Brown discharged the duties of M.C. with &m customary assiduity and courtesy. Dancing was kept up until the until hours of the morning, when the devotees of Terpsichore wended their way homewards.
