THE LEVEE.
TTpon the termination of this interesting and imposing ceremony, the cavalry received the word of command to re-form ; and the procession, having resumed its former order, returned to the Public Hall, where his Excellency held an undress levee. The hall bad been tastefully decorated for the occasion with flags of various designs, and the appearance of the interior wag very pleasing and cheering. The lower end of the hall was screened off, so as to form a kind of boudoir for Lady Bowen and her attendants. Her Ladyship was attended by Mrs. J. Williamson, Mrs. < olonel Beatson, Mrs. J. S. Mooro, Mrs. Creighton, Mrs. Heaphy, Miss Williamson, Miis Beatson, Miss Dacre, Mesdames J. Wallace, TT. K. Hamilton, A. Martin, J. Styak, E. Walters, J. Buckland, Elmsley. J. Gordon. Massey, F.
