INSEPCTION OF CAVALRY VOLUNTEERS.

Precisely at noon the various Volunteer Cavalry Gorpx assembled at the Triangle paddock, as follow: — Ltahvbd Troo?, No. I.—Captain Bauett, Lieutenant Uunciman, Cornet Robertson, and 20 rank ana tile. Auckland Troo*, No. 2. —Oiptain Hardington, Lieutenant Marks, Cornet Davrson, Dr. Hooper, Veterinary Surgeon Kiuloch; total rank and file, 33. This over, the Cavalry returned to the village and partook of refrenhmeots, having been over two bours in the •addle. Towards three o'clock they remounted and proceeded to met his Excellency at Ann's Bridge, The carriages were escorted into the village, and drew up in an open space in the centre of the village, nearly opposite the Public Hall.
