ThB Customs receipts to-day were — Duties, £526 17s 7d ; light dues, £2 13s 8d ; M.S. fees, 6s j arms fees, 11s ; port charges, 13s sd. Total, £531 Is. Bd. Messr.". 8. Cochrane and Son leased to-day by public auction 14 allotments ou Custom-bouse-streeb, under instructions received from his Honor the Superintendent. The allotments are to be used as timber wharves, and have each a frontage to the river of 40 feet, by a depth of 47 feet. The lease was for a term of one year, to commence on the 18th of Aptil. Lots 1, 2, 3, were bought by Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane, at £21 each per annum; No. 4, Mr. George Gilchrist, same pi ice ; No. 5, Messrs. Schappe and Ausenne, ditto ; No. 6, Me. D. Goldie, ditto ; No. 7, Messrs. Kichard Seccombe and Son ; No. 8, Mesirs. J. H. Burnside and Co.; No. 9, Mr. Thomas Craig ; No. 10, Mr. Matthews j No. 11, Mr. B. Gilmer ; No. 12, Messrs. Combes and Daldyj No. 13, Mr. George Gilchrist ; and No. 14, Mr. Antonio Martin, all at the same price as last jean
