The 'Medusa' has cleared for London, with 1,762 bales wool, 311 bales cotton, 204 hhd. treacle, 291 casks tallow, 180 casks oil, 85 bundles whalebone, 47 bags bones, 67 casks hide cuttings, 4,100 horns, 99 cases gum. Messrs. Bradley, NewtoD, and Lamb sold to-day thejdamaged portion of the cargo of tea?, ex ' Landrosfc Braun,' at Campbells Wharf, at prices ranging from £4 12s to £6 93 6d per chest. The same firna announce for sale to-day 170 hhds. ale, the balance of the cargo of teas ex 'M. W. i^ass,' and a shipment of damaged woolpacke. The wool sales to-day passed off with considerable animation. There was hardly any fine wool offered; had there been, it would probably have brought an advance on late rates ; for other descriptions prices ruled about the same as last week. .Scoured bronght Hid to 19£ d ; fleece, S*d to 15d ; greasy, 6d to 84d ; sheepskins sold readily at late quotations. Particulars of tales were as follow :—: — Messrs. Irwin and Turner catalogued 135 bales wool, and placed 98. The principal lots were : 1111, 5 bales broken at 5f d ; WC in diamond, 5 scoured at I7jd ; GL, 7at 15d ; WF over Nandi in square, 11 at 10|d ; A. Ewan, 20 damaged greasy at 4|d ; PL over MB in diamond, 15 at 7Jd. 3 lota sheepskin*, at 5d to s£d ; 6 lots pelts, at If dto 34d. Messrs. Mort and Co. soM, H& D in diamond, 5 bales fleece at 84d; HB conjoined, 5, scoured, at 19£J ; DOR, 13 fleece, at 13Jd ; C.5.0., 16 at 13d ; NMG, 13, at 10id; PR conjoined, 12, at ll±d ; JMK, 13, at 12|d; AB, 13, scoured, at ll^d ; C over GL, 6, greasy, at 6d; and 47 bales in small lots; 4 lots sheepskins at 3|d to s£d ; and 10 lots pelts at 2dto34d. Messrs. Harrison and Jones disposed of 52 bales, of which Murrygon, 9 bales fleece, sold at 12d ; G. K. Biddon, 24 at 10|d ; MC over A, 9 at 12£ d ; 4 lots sheepskins at 4i to s|d ; 2 lots pelts at 2fd and 3|d. Mr. Ebsworth sold, JG, 11 fleece at ll^d ; CL, 26 at 15d ; and 10 odd bales Bheepskins brought 4£d to 4|d ; pelts, 2£d. Mr. Devlin sold 10 bales skin- wool at 9id ; 5 greasy at 3±d to 6£d ; 2 lots sheepskins at 4|d ; pelts, If d to 2Jd.— Sydney Morning Herald, April 3.
