NATIVE MEETING AT WAITANGI.

The follow ing gentlemen left for the Bay of Islands yesterday in the steamer ' Tauranga,' which was laid on for an excursion trip to that place for the convenience of gentlemen desiring to be present at the great native meeting to be held at Waitangi this day :— Drs. Hector, Kingsley, and Steel ; Messrs. James Williamson, F. Whitaker, T. Russell, Clark, ■on* Jackson, A. Clark, M.H.R., J. M. Clark, V»Ueck, Wardrop, J. C. Firth, T. Macffarlane, M.8.R., Ireland, Gambra, Keef, Steel, Clark, Morton, Symonds, J. >tewart, and Bartlett. The 'TaurMiga' is not expected to return until Saturday evening, in order that ample time may be afforded the passengers, if so desirous, of visiting Kawakawa coal mines.
