Sir,— Your correspondent the "Irishman" must have a strange and perverted sense of right and wrong, when he says, or implies as he does, in his letter, that Ireland has no wrongs. He cannot sap. pose that any one would ask you to open your pages to a detail and disouision of her wrongs. But if she had no other wrong than the Established Church that alone might justify the discontent and indignation, though, not the crimes, of her people. [ These injustices are remediable, and many attempts, »s yet with but partial success, have been made to remedy them ; but to deny their existence ig-to add insult to injury, and drive the sufferers to despair. The existence of the Irish Established Church is an injustice,' not only to the Irish Catholic poor, but to the taxpayers of the Empire generally.
