Anckland Jockey Club rules strictly adhered to. Saddling bell will ring a quarter of an hour before

each race. All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to Secretary or Clerk of Scales at least a quarter of an hour before starting. Any owner, rider, or other person lodging a protest will be required to deposit the sum of £5 in the hands of the Secretary, which sum will be forfeited to the race fund should the protest be overruled by the Stewards.
