H.M. SHIPS. H. M.S. Falcon, Commander Perceval, will take her departure to-day for Wollington and Sydney. We understand it is probable the Falcon will return to this station on the arrival of the relief ship, prior to taking her filial departure for England, timeexpired. H.M.s. Challenger, Commodore Rowley Lambert, 0.8., will leave her moorings to-day, in company with H.M.b, Falcon, for a cruise off the Kawau.

ARRIVAL OF THE BARQUE BELLA MARY. The favourite barque Bella Mary, Captain R. Copping, arrived early yesterday from Hobart Town, with a cargo of breadstuff's, &c. she reports having left the wharf on Saturday evening, the 14th De cember, and proceeded to s>e» the next day. Hounded Cape Pillar at daylight on the 16t.b, and for the lirst five days had variable S.S.W. and westerly breezes, followed by light airs and calms until sighting the Three Kings on the evening of Christmaß Day, eight days out. Passed the JSorth Cape the next day, and has since been becalmed on the coast, anchoring in Auckland harbour at 6 a.m. yesterday, after making an excellent run of fourteen days, notwithstanding the light winds aud calms experienced. Captain Copping reports that on the morning of the 25th instant he passed through a large school of sperm whales, the weather being at the time fine and calm. On the 22nd, in latitude 36 20 S., longitude 164*52 E , passed a large brig, steering to fie westward, with a light northerly breeze. There wera no vessels loading for Auckland when the Bella Mary sailed. The Bella Mary experienced a tedious »nd trying passage hence to Hobart Town of 35 days, nothing but gales of wind, dead ahead, having been encountered all the way across. She brings eighteen passengers, and a choice selected cargo of wheat and flour from the Tasmaniau market. We are indebted to Captain Copping for Hobart Town files.
