S. VICKIBS'S REPORT. There has -been some inquiry for Bank of New Zealand sharei, for which there are buyers at £16 103.: in other shares there has been nothing doing. The Thames Gold Minißg shares are now attracting much attention, and it is evident that many of the claims will be worked by small companies. Both sleeping and working shares and portion* of shares can now be obtained in many of the well-known gold claims? and I have at present on my list shares in some of the belt for sale.
