Mr. Jatnes Busiell for plaintiff; Mr. Macdon aid for defendant. Plaintiff deposed that some dispute had arisen between herself and Mr. Creagh, in reference to some business transactions. The disputes were submitted by deed to the arbitration of Mr. Dudley Eyre. The case was then adjourned for a weelc, in order that the deed of submission might be produced. Mr. Macdonald stated that he had little doubt but that the case would be settled I out of Court.

T. HANCOCK Y. E. EVANS. Mr. Brookfield for plaintiff; Mr. J. Eussell for defendant. Claim, £4 125., for use and occupation. The defence was that Erans had built the house on the ground under an agreement with a man named Warburton, to whom he had paid his rent. Judgment was given for plaintiff for £'3 7b.

MJLSEFIELD AND CO. Y. M. H. 808. Mr. H. H. Lusk for plaintiff; Mr. Beveridge for defendant. Claim, £16 ss. 3d. Plaintiff deposed that he had supplied certain goods to defendant. In cross-examination, witness stated that the work was done for Mr. Eoe's mill. He did not mention Mr. Mtcfarlane's name till after the account was rendered. He never said that he was only manager of the mill. Defendant said that, when he gave the order for the goods, he told plaintiff that they were for the Cornwallis mills, and on previous occasions he had told him that the mill belonged to Mr. Macfarlane. In cross-examination, wifcm ss said that, if the mill paid, he was again to become the owner of the mill. He had no interest in the mill, and yet he was to get it back with all it contained by-and-by, Judgment was given for the plaintiff.

W. C. WILSON Y. HABKINS. Mr. Beveridge for plaintiff. Claim, £6 17s. 6d. Defendant admitted £3 of the debt, saying that he had given notice to stop sending the paper, but it still continued to be sent. Judgment was given for plaintiff.

CLEVELAND Y. BOBINSON. Air. Beveridge for defendant. Claim, £1 2s. Defendant proved a set-off, covering the whole amount, and leaving a judgment for defendant, 9s. lOd. ansell t. thjocteb. Mr. Beveridge for plaintiff; Mr. MaoCormick for defendant. Claim, £19, for conversion of a cow. Plaintiff deposed that he had the cow at his farm, Three Kings, on the 17th September lait. He next saw it on last Wednesday week at Biverhe&d, under the charge of defendant. Several witnesses were examined, after which plaintiff took a nonsuit.

HXNNXFOHD Y. BEi.T. Claim, £3, for collecting accounts. Judgment was given for the plaintiff, execution not to issue till Bray had an opportunity of bringing a cross action. This concluded the business, '
