Mails — For Shortland, par 3. a. Midge, this day, at 9 *.ra. For Port Fitzroy, per Dawn this day, At 10 a.m. For the United Kingdom rift Suez, per s.s. Lord Ashley, the registered letter, money order, and newspaper mails will close at 11 a. m., and the mails for ordinary letters at noon, on Saturday, 12th instant. For Tauranga and the Southern Provinces of New Zealand, Australian Colonits, Mauritius, Ceylon, India, &c Mediterranean Forts, and Continent of Europe, per s.s. Lord Ashley, the registered letter, money order, and newspaper mails will close at 11 a.m., and the mails for ordinary letters at noon, on Saturday, 12th instant.
THAMES GOLDFIELD 3 POST-0 FFICE3.— The postoffice at Shortlaud is at the store of Mr. Francis Collier JELollqway, who is appointed postmaster. Mr. John Douglas is postmaster at Kopu. Mails are despatched by every iteamer to .Kaua«rang,i. W. CORBBTT, Chief-Postmastor.
