FOR SALE, OR LEASE, A FARM, of over Five Hundred Acres, of which about one hundred and fifty Acres are enclosed and subdivided by ditches, having rose hedges on the embankments ; and of which enclosed area about one-half has been cropped with wheat and potatoes, the remainder being good pasture land, with a considerable quantity of flax. There is a small area of heavy bush, consisting of timber usually found on flat land?, and affording an ample and convenient supply of firewood, fencing timber, sawing timber, &c The Hikutaia creek, which is about half-way between the Kauaeranga ani Ohinemuri creeks, forma the upper or southern boundary. It is navigable by vessels not drawing more than six feet, almost up to the eastern boundary at spring tides, and to the centre of the farm at all tides. It is in the centre of the goldfield, being about equidistant from the Kuranui to north, and Aroha to the south. It is accessible from Kauaerangabyland, distance about eight miles, or more; and by the Thames river and Hikutaia, as already described. The undersigned is under the painful necessity of disposing of the farm, or leasing it, as our honourable and paternal Governments choose rather to squander our revenue on themselves, than to compensate him for the loss he has sustnined when he was compelled to quit his farm in consequence of the hostile attitude assumed by the native race. It is only when a Superintendent, or a legislator, or other public functionary and stipendiary, loses "his hat-box, or dress-coat, and boots; or when men who have spent more money on bribing and corrupting electors than all their other expenses come to claim compensation, that our eeneroug and paternal Governments find objects deserving of public charity. This farm is one of the most desirable in the valley of the Thames, but the undersigned does not consider it a goldtield, though gold may be readily made from iw surface by a farmer who can stock and work it. The land has a gentle inclination to the creek. App'y to the undersigned, at Selwyn Terrace, Parnell. DONALD Mo C A SKILL.
