The undersigned is under the painful necessity of disposing of the farm, or leasing it, as our honourable and paternal Governments choose rather to squander our revenue on themselves, than to compensate him for the loss he has sustnined when he was compelled to quit his farm in consequence of the hostile attitude assumed by the native race. It is only when a Superintendent, or a legislator, or other public functionary and stipendiary, loses "his hat-box, or dress-coat, and boots; or when men who have spent more money on bribing and corrupting electors than all their other expenses come to claim compensation, that our eeneroug and paternal Governments find objects deserving of public charity. This farm is one of the most desirable in the valley of the Thames, but the undersigned does not consider it a goldtield, though gold may be readily made from iw surface by a farmer who can stock and work it.
