trustee to the estate, with power to carry on the business on behalf of tke oreditorsfor twelvemonths. Mr. Smith, however, stated that he had already lost? £600 through io doing. Mr. Beaton had since given a cognovit to Mr. Vernon, in puisuance ol which Mr. Vernon had advertised the estate for sale. Mr, Wynn appeared on behalf of a number of the creditors. After some discussion, a resolution to the following effect, as proposed by Mr. Barnßide, whs carried ;-«That Measrc. Wynn, Hurst, and Partington be instructed to inquire i»to the circumstances attending the deed of alignment to Mr. Smith, and also the cognovit to Mr. Vernon, and ■ take such other Bteps as may he de§med necessary, for the benefit of the creditor at largo.' XU9 meeting then separated.
