AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKET. [Report for the week ending April 5.] MR. BUCKLAND'S REPORT.

At the Haymarket, on Faturday last, fodder was in full •apply, and best qualities better -worth. Canterbury oats ■old freely at 4s. Id, and 4s. 2d. the bushel; bran at Is. Id. the bushel ... Hone stock were offered plentiftdly: prices ruled lower. Unbroken draught stock of good quality brought from £19 to £22 ; Hght harneuand plough horses, if in condition, from £7 to SIS; ill-conditioned animals, from 40s. The supply of cattle offered for sale during the past week has been less than usual, and prices have advanced on all deicrlptions of grown cattle. Fat cattle have brought 40s. the 1001b. Store sheep show no improvement in price. The balance of cargo of wethers, ex 'Star of the South.' were sold on Tuesday, at Bs. 6d. each: and on Thursday half-bred ewes from the coast at 175.; wethers and lambs at 7s. each: longwoolled wether lambs. 12s. each. Fat sheep were in good supply, and without alteration in price. Figs, offer in law numbers; those well fatted were better worth than last week; inferior store pigs sell very low.

HUNTER AND 00. 'S REPORT. We have to report that at otir yards, on Monday, fat cattle were in fair supply, and pricei were consMerablyhlgher than what they hare been for the last few weeks. The inpply of fat cattle seem* to be ihort. There was a good show of store cattle from the coast ; prices have not improved on last quotation!. Dairy cows were in fair number* ; the demand was briik, and pricei ruled high, but very few good animals offering. . . . .

Shizp Market.— We had a good show of merinoes and fat lambs ; prices are considerably better for best qualities of fat merinoes, and are likely to continue so, as the numbers of fat sheep brought into the market are not preat. ...

Fatakvxjl Sale.— At this market there was a fair show of store cattle : all to hand told, and prices ruled about the same M at Otahuhu. ....

House Market.— At our yards, on Saturday, we had* fair •how of howei. A few draughts realised «atisfactory prices : good hacki were alio bringing better prices. There is a good demand for young found stock.

There is a tendency to firmness, as the crop is found to have suffered from the last rain. HAY.— £3 to £4 105. ; oaten, £7 to £8. FLOUR.— Town brands. £16 to £17 ; seconds, £13 : sharps, £10: Adelaide. £17; Chilian, £16. BONE-DUST.— £B 10s. to £9 per ton; 10s. per cwt. Vitriolised bone manure, £12 per ton ; 13s. 6d. per cwt. BAGS.— New, 16s. 6d. ; second-hand, 14s. GUANO.— £IO per ton ; 12s. the cwt. Phosphate guano, £8 per ton. SEEDS.— Red clover. Is. 3d. per lb.; white, Is. 6d.
