The attendance was not so large as usual, the uncertain state of the weather preventing many from attending.', Everything passed off pleasantly, and without any mishap. Little Lady was the favourite fromthecommenosment. , , ' Jockey Club Handicap" of 120 aovs, added to a sweepstakes of 10 soys each —distance, 1£ miles : Allander, 1; Virginia, 2 ; Presto, 3. , . . Virginia was favourite, 3 t to 2 againsj, her being taken. Bad'atarfc.' The finest race of the day. Presto ran only 100 yards. Knoltingly got the start, and kept the lead until near the finish, when Musician made a game effort, but without success, Knottingly winning by a length. Time: 4min. 52sec.
