NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
A GENERAL Government Oazelte was published, on the 23rd inst., and contained a proclamation under the hand of the Governor disallowing certain bill* 'passed by the Provincial Councils of Otago, Canterbury, and Taranaki, and announcing the allowance of Acts pissed by the Provincial Councils of Auckland, Southland, &c. ' The Attorney-General's Act, 1866, is proclaimed to come into operation on the 23rd inst, and the province of Canterbury is declared to be a Registrar's district under the Land Registry Act, 1860. The remainder of the' Gazette is occupied with notices of appointments, &o.
