NOTICES OF MOTION.
1. Captain Cooper to move, "That a respectful address be presented to his Honor the Superintendent, asking him to put a sufficient sum on the additional estimates -with which to reimburse the Surveyor and Custodian of Flans (Mr. Warner), for the loss he sustained last year by the reduction of his salary, and also to make up that officer's salary for the present year to the sum originally asked f or_ last year." 2. Mr. Newman to move, " That the portion of interim report No. 7 of the Committee on Petitions, referring to Adam Laybourne's petition, be taken into consideration, with a view to request his Honor the Superintendent to recommend an appropriation of £ for the purchase of waste land in the province." 3. Mr. May to move, " That the recommendation of the Committee on Petitions, contained in interim report No. 4 of the said committee, in reference to the petition of Elizabeth George, be adopted, and that a copy of the same and of this resolution be forwarded to the petitioner."
