Munich, August 26. The King of Bavaria has caused a medal to be struck in commemoration of the German war, to be given to each soldier who was engaged in it.
Berlin, August 25: The total expenses incurred by Prussia during the late war is stated to be sixty-two millions and a half tbalers, The Moniteur of Prussia, the official journal, reproves in severe terms the Gazette de Ice Croix, for their articles concerning Italy. It says the latter paper ought not to speak so slightingly of Italy, which was a faithful ally to Prussia during the late war.
August 27. A telegram from Leipzig states that a popular assembly, held under the auspices of the German National element, voted by a large majority the following resolution — " The interests of Germany and of Saxony will find their best guarantee in the incorporation of Saxony to Prussia. Tf this incorporation ig impossible, the military command, the diplomatic representation, and the administration of the general and commercial interests of the country ought at least to be handed over to Prussia."
Florekce, August 27. The Prussian troops will evacuate Austrian territory within three weeks. Amongst the conditions made by Menabrea will be restitution of the articles, papers, and preoious documents taken by Austria from Venice, the iron crown included.
Vienna, August 28. Baron Hnbner baa been appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs. The issue of 120 millions in Treasury bonds has been ordered.
London, August 28. Sir Henry Storks has arrived from Jamaica.
