ALFRED BUCKLAND Respectfully informs his friends that he purposes holding, at Newmarket, on the second Wednesday in February and the first Wednesday in October in each year, a Sale of PURE-BRED SHEEP, of all classes. The number of breeders of first-class Sheep which we have at the present time in Auckland, will render a sale of this character of considerable importance, by bringing the flocks of different breeders to the best possible teat, that of public opinion ; and the number and quality of Stock which can be offered at those auctions will, at no distant period, occasion buyer* to attend from the neighbouring provinces and colonies. Those who purpose selling at the sale to be held on tho 3rd October will oblige by forwarding numbers and description without delay, in order that the advertisements may be sent to the Southern provinces by the mail steamer leaving in August.
