NEW PLYMOUTH.
At an auction sale of horses, carts, &c., belonging to the Commissariat Transport Corps held yesterday, by Mr. F. U. Gledhill. 33 draught and saddle horses wer« sold at prices ranging from £37 to £7 ; the average being £17. Hone drays brought from £10 15s. to £5 10*. ; average, £10. Tyro ambulances fetched £10 s*. and £5 10s. respectively. — Herald, May 19.
