The Customs " receipts to-day amounted to £625 19s. 6d. Hidings aud Dowden held » sale by auction to-day, at their mart, Queen-street, of seasonable drapery goods. There was a good attendance, and very fair prices were realised. . Messrs. Jones and Co. held a sale of slightly damaged sugar, ex ' Revenge,' to-day, which obtained the following prices :— ll bags, 4fd. ; 66 bags, 4|d.; 154 bags, 4Jd.j 11 bags, 4fd.j 172 bags, 4|<i.; 3 bags, 4gd.; 162 bags, 3|d.; 70 bags, 3§d.j 45 bags, 43d.; 78 bags, 3§d.; 9 bags, 4Jd.; 14 bags, 4§,1. Messrs. K. and H. Isaacs held a sale of furniture at their stores, Queen-street, to-day, and obtained good prices. A six-roomed house, aituated in Pi itstreet, near the junction of Hobson-street, together with the allotment, 60 links and 280 links, sold for £465. Messrs. Turrell and Tonks sold, to-day, the stock of hardware and general merchandise at Mr. P. G. Myers's retail warehouse, Queen-itreet Wharf, which realised fair pi ices. The sale will be continued to-morrow (Thursday). Quinces were sold at Mr. Cochranes auction-rooms to day, at 2d. to 4d. a kit.
